Here is a recipe for shrimp tacos that serves 4 people:
Ingredients:
– 1 lb USA 40/60 Medium Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp chili powder
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp cumin
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 8 small corn tortillas
– 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
– 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
– 1/2 cup diced avocado
– 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
– Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with the seasoning mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
3. Warm the corn tortillas in the oven or on a skillet.
4. Assemble the tacos by placing a few shrimp on each tortilla, and topping with the diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, diced avocado, and cilantro.
5. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
