Smoked Sausage with Mashed Potatoes

Sausages

To make the dish, the sausages are usually cooked in a skillet until they are nicely browned on all sides. The smoked flavor of the sausages is what really gives the dish its unique taste and aroma. For the mashed potatoes, peeled and chopped potatoes are boiled in a pot until they are tender. They are then mashed with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until they are creamy and smooth.

The smoked sausages are then served alongside the mashed potatoes, creating a hearty and satisfying meal that is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. This dish can be enjoyed as a main course or as a side dish for a larger meal. It’s easy to make and can be customized to suit your personal taste preferences by adding additional cooked onions, vegetables or toppings.

Ingredients:

– 4 smoked sausages
– 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped

Instructions:

1. Place the chopped potatoes in a large pot and cover them with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil.

5. Serve the smoked sausages alongside the mashed potatoes.

Optional: You can also add some sautéed onions and garlic to the sausages for added flavor. Enjoy!
